I'm New to Andune.
First impressions: Quality of the overall product is impressive but minimal defects(negligible). Outsoles are great and very good grip(tested only on Granite floor). Gum between outsole and upper is noticeable, might not affect longevity.
Review(worn for few minutes): Volume of the shoe should be increased overall, also at toe area. Fit is better when insole is removed but that's not what I wanted. Value for money but improvements are needed.
Feedback: Need extra horizontal toe spread area. I would love to see designs of leather or vegan leather for more natural support and flexibility on the upper.(I personally prefer shoes without socks).
Should make more of this kind.
The sole is slightly thicker than my previous pair, which makes this shoe comfortable to wear without compromising on ground feel. The height of the shoe (upper to sole) is quite low, which makes putting them on a struggle if you have thick feet like I do.
Due to limited availability and restrictive pricing of well known brands, I was looking for local options in Zero drop and wide toe shoes. I have tried many right from a brand called Azani to Impakto and nothing worked for various reasons. I am not in favour of the grooved and finger shaped sole that were being sold earlier and available in abundance all over Internet, so when the Urban Active Drift launched, I had to try them. Waited for almost 2 weeks to post this review and to try all sorts of workout variations in the Gym and came out impressed. Although they aren't advertised for Gym wear they are fine for functional training and jumping on matted surfaces along with weight training. Due to my high volume midsole ( high midfoot) I had to remove the stitching on the side of the tongue and get a cobbler to stitch it farther, however all is well in the end. I hope they come in non Black colour in the future.
The soles are thicker and the shoes are constricting the feet.
