This is my second Andune shoe that I use for my Strength & Conditioning workouts. Having transitioned in minimalist shoes for all my workouts (running & strength training), I found Andune models to have the best sole grip as well as a snug fit at the ankles. The prices are just right for the value they offer & are some of the best in the market.

If your purpose is to transition safely into (near)barefoot workouts, then you have a good option in Andune.

Positives:
1) Nice and wide toe box. If you feel it's not wide enough, just give it a three running sessions and it'll break in.
2) Good stability while running.
Negatives:
1) The shoe is unusually wide at the back. The heel slides across a little bit. Not exactly confidence inspiring.
2) Also, too much shoe to wrap around your heel/ I wish it hugged my feet a lot more.
Suggestion:
A few more gills/ inner/ outer lining to let the shoe hug the feet and in time expand would be a better strategy than giving a lot of material like a free-size shoe.
